Refund Policy for Mindful Balance DBT for Women (Western Australia)
1. Purpose
- This policy explains when refunds are offered for services provided by Mindful Balance DBT for Women (trading as Clear Mind Directive CMD Counselling Services), including DBT Life Group sessions and online modules.

2. Scope
- Applies to all paid services accessible through our website, including:
- DBT Life Group online group sessions
- Online self-guided modules
- Individual coaching or hybrid offerings (as described on our site)

3. Payment and Attendance Model
- All payments are collected on a weekly basis for applicable programs.
- Attendance is based on scheduled sessions; participants are expected to attend or provide notice as described in this policy.

4. Refund Eligibility
- Refunds are not offered for weekly payments once a booking is confirmed and payment processed.
- In exceptional circumstances (e.g., serious medical emergencies or technical barriers preventing access to the service for an extended period), a discretionary refund or credit may be considered at the sole discretion of Mindful Balance DBT for Women. Such decisions are case-by-case and require documented evidence.

5. Cancellations and Notice
- Cancellations by the participant:
- For DBT Life Group: Cancellations must be provided at least 48 hours before the scheduled session to avoid attendance penalties or loss of that session’s fee, in line with the policy published on the site.
- For other modules/coaching: refer to the specific cancellation terms displayed at purchase.
- Cancellations by Mindful Balance DBT for Women:
- If we cancel a session, you will be offered an alternative session time, a credit towards future sessions, or a full refund at our discretion.

6. How to Request a Refund or Credit
- To request consideration for a refund or credit (in exceptional circumstances), contact:

- Include: booking reference, date of payment, reason for the request, and any supporting documentation.

- Refunds (when approved) will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, subject to payment processor timelines.

8. Fees and Restocking
- Any non-refundable fees (e.g., administrative charges) will be specified at the time of purchase and are not refundable.
- Digital products delivered instantly are generally non-refundable unless there is a technical error or the service did not function as advertised.

- Special circumstances (e.g., verified medical issues, platform outages) may qualify for an exception at the discretion of the administration team.
